"Youth, the future of cooperative enterprise" "Les jeunes, l'avenir de l'entreprise coopérative" "La juventud, el futuro de la empresa cooperativa" This year's theme highlights how the cooperative model of enterprise can successfully empower youth. It links to the celebration of the United Nations International Year of Youth, which encourages dialogue and understanding across generations and promotes the ideals of peace, respect for human rights and freedoms, and solidarity . The NCUI organised a Symposium on "Youth, the future of Cooperative Enterprises" to celebrate the International Cooperative Day on 2nd July 2011 at NCUI New Delhi which was atteneded by representatives of ICA, FAO of UN, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Youth affairs, Educational Bodies besides Chairmen & CEOs of National Level Cooperative Federation from India.

According to the UN The International day of cooperatives theme "Youth-the future of cooperative enterprises" in 2011,  Mongolian national cooperators' association and Youth cooperators' club organized Youth cooperators’ national assembly and workshop with support of National cooperative development program of the Government of Mongolia and CHF International during 30 June-2 July, 2011. For the assembly, there participated 60 youth from 21 aimags and Ulaanbaatar city.
