ICA Activities: Information and Expertise
ICA provides its members with key information, best practice and contacts. It maintains a library of information, a database of its membership and key co-operative contacts. ICA is the repository of information on co-operative issues - thematic, sectoral, technical, legislative, etc. It can supply information on issues touching co-operatives but also provide key contacts for expertise. It also promotes networking among its members to ensure that co-operatives share relevant experiences as well as develop commercial links among each other. See also:
ICA regularly reports on its current activities and issues addressed through its weekly, quarterly and annual publications including the ICA Digest, the ICA Review of International Co-operation and the Annual Report.
It organises meetings and workshops to address key issues affecting co-operatives and allows discussion among co-operators from around the world. See the ICA Calendar for a listing of upcoming meetings.
Through these activities ICA facilitates contacts between co-operatives for trading purposes and intelligence sharing in a wide range of areas.
