The IYC will be an opportunity for communities around the world to celebrate and communicate their "co-operative difference".

To help plan and highlight these celebrations and events the ICA has launched a calendar which has full search facilities enabling visitors to upload a co-operative event and to search for events near them.

A football tournament to be held in Ghana featuring eight African co-operative owned Sandlanders clubs together with four invited non-African sides (which will all be at least part supporter trust/co-operative owned clubs).
