International Conference on Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship in Prague, April 2009
The conference is part of a series of events on social economy held within the triple presidency of the Council of the European Union shared by France, the Czech Republic and Sweden.
The Union of Czech Production Co-operatives, in association with the Cooperative Association of the Czech Republic, the Union of Czech and Moravian Housing Co-operatives, the Confederation of Employers‘ and Entrepreneurs‘ Associations of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, is organizing International Conference on Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship.
The conference programme and workshops are prepared in close cooperation with EU Commissioner Vladimír Špidla and his office, and other representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament and EESC. European institutions and partners active in social economy have taken the leadership of the workshops, namely CIRIEC, Cooperatives Europe, REVES, the Chèque Déjeuneur, CECODHAS and others.
