In conjunction with CECODHAS, ICA Housing helped fund a project designed to look at different housing co-operatives around the world and try and draw some lessons useful to other housing co-operatives around the world. Titled 'Application of Co-operative Principles in Practice' it documents twenty-one cases of housing co-operatives  from twelve countries.

The NCBA presents some of its own publications with regard to housing cooperatives.

Co-Op Housing Bookstore
CHF Canada and it's member federation the Co-operative Housing Federation of Toronto are partners in an initiative called the Co-op Housing Bookstore. The Bookstore publishes and distributes plain-language education materials for members of housing co-operatives. The majority are English-language publications, but they also distribute French-language materials as well.

The handbook has been developed by the Federal Ministry for Infrastructure and Urban Development and two research institutes.
