ICFO Activities

ICFO organises seminars on fisheries co-operatives in countries where it has members. Funded by the Japanese Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (MAFF) under the "Training Project for Leaders of Fisheries Co-operatives in the World", ICFO has organised these seminar since 1987. The main emphasis of the seminar is placed on the development of leadership in the fisheries co-operative sector. Below is a list of some of the seminars held in the last few years:

Other major activities of the Committee include undertaking and publishing the results of surveys or studies on various aspects of the sector, such as on fisheries insurance, credit business etc.
