- Installation of icanews feed box on member's websites
The development of the ICA 's news service www.icanews.coop site means we are now able to offer a new and quite unique product to our members. We can provide you with a news feed box from icanews to your website, which will include real-time updates of the latest breaking co-op news from anywhere in the world. The news feed box can take a general news feed as occurs for example on the www.australia.coop site or we can tailor this news feed to suit your interests.
If you are only interested in development or agriculture, or demutualisation or what is happening in Europe, or any combination of these and other areas we can adjust the news feed box on your website to reflect these priorities. This news feed service can also be in French and Spanish as well as English or any combination you may want.
We will be offering members the opportunity to have this ICA news box service installed on their site for no cost. To help further improve this service we are also asking all our members to directly provide information and news to the www.icanews.coop site and/or to make sure you RSS enable your own news on your site. We can also help you with this process if necessary.
- Exchange of logos - encouraging greater links between ICA and its members, including a new ICA Members Logo
To help encourage greater exchange of information and knowledge between the ICA and its members we are asking all our members to send the logo of their organisations to the ICA for inclusion on ICA websites. In a similar way the ICA would like to encourage ICA members to include the ICA logo and links to the ICA on their sites.
To help this process the ICA is having a graphic ICA Members Logo developed. As a member you will be able to display this member logo on your site and use it to link to the ICA 's sites.
- Free distribution of the ICA Digest to your members of members
The ICA has always encouraged members to actively distribute the ICA 's main communication vehicle, the ICA Digest , to their members - we are aware that many members already do this to some extent. However, to further encourage this we will provide a new service whereby we will, if you wish send the Digest directly to your members, saving you the time and trouble. To help us provide this service could you please provide the appropriate contact details of your membrs to enable us to distribute it electronically.
