One opportunity that the International Year of Co-operatives brings is for the co-operative movement to gather in one place all co-operative events. The search facility allows the visitor to search on the type of event as well as country. It’s also very easy to use.

The ICA is working with its partner Euricse to gather stories of successful co-operative enterprises during 2012. These stories are published on our new partner website stories.coop.
Each day during 2012 we will feature one example on the front page of the 2012.coop website. You can submit your co-operative stories through the stories.coop website or add the stories.coop button and link to your website so that your visitors can participate in this fantastic project and help raise awareness of the co-operative business model.

Global News Hub
Launched in September 2011 the Global News Hub allows co-operators to share and disseminate news to a global audience. The Hub has an automatic feed to the 2012.coop website giving the widest possible audience for global co-operative news.
It’s easy to join if you want to upload content and if you manage a co-operative website you can also add the Global News Hub button and link to your website so that your visitors can find out the latest co-operative news from around the world.
