Italy’s large-scale retailer, Coop Alleanza 3.0, has launched an innovative and advanced e-commerce service to improve customers’ online shopping experience.
The portal, www.easycoop.com, enables consumers to enjoy flexibility, particularly during checkout, deciding the day and time window in which to receive their orders. As part of the new service, customers receive an SMS reminder a few minutes before delivery occurs, including the name and identification code of the driver. The portal was developed and funded by Digitail, a subsidiary of Coop Alleanza 3.0.
The platform is currently available to customers in the Greater Rome area but the co-op aims to extend it to other parts of the country as well.
